Frequently Asked Questions About Pest Control

Payment

  • Can I pay the technician when he comes to my home?

Yes, our technicians can accept payments of cash and checks. Credit and debit card payments must be called into the office.

  • Do I have to pay the technician when he comes to my home?

No. Following the time of your service, our office can send you an invoice by mail.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, debit and credit card payments.

However, a fee of 3.5% or $5.00 (whichever is greater) will be assessed for debit and credit card payments.

There will be a charge of $29.00 for all returned checks.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    No, we do not.

Roaches

  • How quickly will the treatment work on roaches?

The treatment will begin to work immediately but you could still see roaches moving around your home for a few weeks. If you haven't noticed a marked difference in the roach activity in 2 weeks we recommend that you call to schedule a second roach treatment. This will be done at no cost to you if done within 30 days of the initial treatment.

Termites

  • What is the difference between winged termites and flying ants?

    Winged Termites have:

2 body segments (head and elongated thorax)

4 wings that all equally sized

    Flying Ants have:

3 body segments (head, thorax and abdomen)

2 sets of wings- one set is smaller than the other

Bed Bugs:

  • I think I have bed bugs…now what?

The first thing we need to do is schedule an inspection to determine if you have bed bugs and how many rooms are infested. At that time our technician will give you a price for the treatment. This initial inspection cost is $50.

  • What do I need to do to get ready for a bed bug treatment?

We will supply you with a "prep sheet" that will outline all the steps that need to be taken before we can treat your home for bed bugs. Contact our office if you need another copy.

  • How long do I have to stay out of my home following?

You may not be inside the home during a treatment for bedbugs. Additionally, you must agree to stay outside of the home for at least 4 hours. If you do not leave the home, or our technician has reason to believe that you will not stay out of your home for 4 hours, our technician reserves the right to refuse to treat your home. This is for your safety.

General Information:

  • Do you work on Saturday?

Our technicians are not required to work after hours or weekends but will sometimes opt to do so. Therefore, we will occasionally set up appointments for Saturdays. The best way to find out if this type of appointment is available is to call the office and ask.

  • How quickly will I get an appointment?

On average, the wait time for an appointment is 1 week. During our busiest seasons, spring and early fall, the wait could be 2-3 weeks.

  • Do you do something for snakes?

We do not, but we can refer you to someone who does. Please call the office for that information.
